Themba Vilakazi: Themba is an award-winning Director of Cinematography whose feature-length documentary film Lost Tongue won the Women Film Critics Circle Award at the Socially Relevant Film Festival New York in March 2016. The film and it went on to win second prize at the ReelHeArt International Film and Screenplay Festival in Canada in June 2016 Vilakazi also doubles as an editor and mentor to budding filmmakers and professional photographers. Vilakazi’s story telling skills were horned over many years, dating back to his time when he studied photo-journalism and went on to work with a number of mainstream South African media houses.
